FHP

FHP – Frezite High Performance (former HPS-PT) was founded in 2007 and is a joint-venture of the German company HPS-D and the research and development-oriented Portuguese institute INEGI (“Instituto de Engenharia Mecânica e Gestão Industrial”). Since 2018, the company is part of Frezite Group.

FHP concentrates on the areas of “Carbon & Lightweight Structures”, “Thermal Control Equipment” and “New Materials” with a high variety of products. Currently, the main product and service areas are the following:

• Multilayer Insulation (MLI) for spacecrafts, scientific instruments and cryogenic applications
• Development, machining and sensor integration of ablators for re-entry vehicles
• Composite and metallic parts for satellite subsystems and antenna feeds
• Deployable structures (deployable mast and reflector)
• Mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE)
• Assembly of small structure subsystems
• Composite material development and research
• Structural and thermal analysis and CAD services
